Eng. Adel El-Naggar, Chairman of the 6th of October City Authority, said that the “Lulu Hypermarket” project currently being implemented in the city is located in a distinguished location in the heart of 6th of October City, overlooking the service axis and adjacent to Al-Hosary Square, and its most important views are of the national monorail project.
El-Naggar added that the project is being built on an area of 40 thousand square meters and consists of two floors with a total area of 25 thousand square meters. The mall has an open area of 16 thousand square meters on the two floors, with a food and beverage area with 6 shops.
The hypermarket contains 6 shops on the ground floor and 7 on the first floor with an area for children and infants. The ground garage surrounding the building can accommodate more than 700 cars at once with wide entrances through four gates with good security with four guard rooms for each gate.
It is considered one of the most famous retail stores in the world, and its main center is located in Abu Dhabi in the United Arab Emirates, and it operates in 22 countries around the world.
The project includes a group of distinctive sections, making it a front for all residents of 6th of October City and the surrounding cities.

In the framework of the Ministry of Housing and the New Urban Communities Authority’s keenness to provide the best development services and in partnership with a foreign investor, the construction of a (commercial mall) project has begun on the central axis in 6th of October City.
The land area on which the mall is built is 40 thousand m2 and the building area is 24.5 thousand m2 and is equipped from the outside with a parking lot that can accommodate 700 cars and is equipped with the latest lighting systems to determine the available parking spaces. It is also equipped with (2) loading and unloading platforms and contains a hypermarket from the inside with an area of 16 thousand m2 in addition to multi-activity shops with an area of 4 thousand m2 and a (food court) area with an area of 800 m2 and is equipped from the inside with (2) escalators and (2) elevators for customers and (3) service elevators, and the place has been equipped with the latest digital technology and modern surveillance cameras and control rooms and security and guards.
The project aims to serve the city’s residents by providing them with the necessary needs and requirements.
